Dorothy Jean Johnson Kitchen Fogle, 91 ~ years young, was born in Crestview, FL on March 12, 1931, the daughter of the late Ozelle Scott and Gertrude Johnson. She transitioned early on Friday August 12, 2022. She gave her life to Jesus at an early at the Pentecostal Holiness Church in Crestview, FL under the leadership of her Aunt Janie Mae Buggs.She graduated from Lake County Training Center School in Leesburg, FL in 1950. She graduated from Gibbs Junior College in St Petersburg, FL in 1954, majoring in Cosmetology. Other degrees and education are from Lake County Vocational Technical Center in Eustis, Child Care and Home Health Aide.She was employed as a teacher's aide at both Bates High and Umatilla Elementary Schools. She was employed at Leesburg Regional Medical Center as a Home Health Aide; she was also employed as a Federal Census taker and Elections Poll worker.Her hobbies included but are not limited to genealogy, quilting, fishing, dancing, walking and an assortment of arts and crafts. She volunteered with the Cancer Society teaching breast cancer awareness. She was also a member of the Lake County Silver Star Seniors, Mount Olive Cemetery Committee, Sister caring and sharing and Tavares Eastern Stars.Dorothy was married to George Leo Kitchen, Sr, on May 18, 1957. George transitioned on October 16, 1991.She leaves to celebrate her legacy, six children, Ranetta Bollar transitioned on February 22, 2020, Norman Kitchen, Lynette Jackson, Annette Gayle, George Kitchen Jr. and Corey Kitchen. 16 grandchildren, 21 great grandchildren and eight great great grandchildren. She was blessed to enjoy five generations of her family. She has two God daughters, Pamela Williams and Carol Cameron, one God Son William Lucas and a very special nephew Rodney Daily. A host of nieces, nephews, cousins, friends' coworkers and church families. There was a special place in her heart for her Tuesday morning Bingo friends and everyone she had the pleasure of meeting, too many to mention. Dorothy later married Albert E. Fogle. Albert transitioned on January 31, 2016.
