Wilhelmenia Wiggins Sanderson was born on August 27, 1936 in Allendale, SC to Charlie and Mary Wiggins. The family relocated to Leesburg, FL when Wilhelmenia was 2 years old. She received her education at Lake County Training School.
Wilhelmenia, affectionately known as Tittye, truly lived life to the fullest. Food Service was her profession, and she held many jobs in that capacity. She was employed with the Florida School Food Service Association, where she was a Cafeteria Manager. She eventually retired (twice) after over 25 years of service.
Wilhelmenia was a faithful member of the Mt Olive Progressive Baptist Church for decades. She sang in the choir; served with the culinary staff and other areas of the church.
Wilhelmenia was preceded in death by her parents, Charlie and Mary Wiggins; husband, Osborne “Redman” Sanderson; brother, Walter Wiggins; sister, Albertha “Nunnye” Jones; and son, Gary Kiner.
Cherishing an everlasting memory is a devoted family: grandchildren, Randall Kiner ,Syntavia Kiner,Taurean Porter, Kisha Miller ;daughter-in-law, Melody Kiner; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and extended family/friends.
